The United States Army appointed Major General Dave Glaser its 16th Provost Marshal General, the officer accountable for the service’s law enforcement, corrections, and criminal investigations, and later placed him as Deputy Commanding General of United States Army North. Sam Houston State University then named him Chief Strategy Officer, seating him on the President’s Cabinet, where he sets and drives the strategic priorities of an entire university system. Sam Houston State is also home to the Institute for Homeland Security, which has credentialed Chris Grollnek for its own active shooter prevention work. ASPP™ was founded by Chris Grollnek, an active shooter expert whose P.R.O. Model™ the Department of Justice selected as “A” national standard and which is in use at some installations and commands across the Department of Defense.

Major General Dave Glaser, US Army (Retired), is a highly successful, trusted & principled C-Level Executive, Advisor & Consultant with a strong record for cultivating exceptional teams, developing innovative solutions & maximizing talent. Command background. Major General Glaser served as the 16th Provost Marshal General of the United States Army and the 13th Commanding General of the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command (CID). In that role he was the principal military advisor to the Secretary of the Army and the Chief of Staff of the Army on law enforcement, criminal investigations, criminal intelligence fusion, corrections, biometrics, physical security, high-risk personnel security, antiterrorism, and detention operations.
As Commanding General of CID he led the Department of the Army’s independent criminal investigative authority, reporting directly to the Secretary of the Army and the Chief of Staff of the Army. He was commissioned in 1985 through ROTC at Xavier University.
