Let me start with a fact that should change how we think. For almost 70 years, no child has died in a school fire in the United States. That is not luck; we made it happen with fire codes, alarms, sprinklers, inspections, drills, and people who knew the plan. Here is the part most people miss. No building uses every fire product ever made. A small office is not set up like a hospital, and a country church is not set up like a stadium. There are hundreds of fire safety tools out there. No rule says one building has to use them all, but each place uses what fits. That is how active shooter prevention should work, too, and that is exactly how we built the PRO Model™.

Affordable and Complete Are Not Opposites

The active shooter industry is worth about $4.4 billion a year. A lot of that money goes to shiny new objects, where people buy expensive products and hope the problem goes away. We do not work that way. Prevention does not start with a purchase; it starts with an honest look at where you actually stand, and then you add only what truly lowers your risk. That is the right thing to do. It is also the affordable option because nothing gets bought that does not earn its place.

This is why we give away half of what we do. The goal is #NEVERHERE™, a place where this violence is stopped before it starts. That goal fails if only the biggest budgets can afford to get there. Investigative and advisory partners include Blackfish Intelligence and Global Security Innovative Strategies. We also have academic research and education support from Sam Houston State University, whose Center for Assessment, Research, and Educational Safety (CARES) is an authorized reseller of the Crisis Response Leader Training (CRLT) module, the scenario-based simulation offering from Crisis Response Leader Training, Inc., within our Community of Experts. Our Senior Leadership Advisory Council includes Major General Dave Glaser, U.S. Army (Retired). Prevention-focused nonprofit partners include ASHER 360 and the National Violence Prevention Hotline.

There is more coming. We have added three new partners with tools that this field has not seen before.
