The World Police Summit is an annual event where the brightest minds in law enforcement gather to discuss the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in the fight against crime. This year’s event in Dubai was no exception, and it was an incredible honor for Chris Grollnek, active shooter expert Chris Grollnek, to speak there on behalf of the Active Shooter Prevention Project’s community of elite advisors on the phenomenon of Active Shooter and Domestic Terrorism Events.
Chris Grollnek’s presentation, The Chaos Clock How to Recapture Time During an Active Shooter Event, was well received and earned him an award for his contribution to the conference. For Grollnek, this recognition was the most humbling experience of his professional career. He knew that he was representing a community of experts from the highest levels of US Government, US Military, law enforcement, psychology, and technology, who are all dedicated to the same cause: preventing active shooter incidents from happening.
The presentation highlighted the importance of situational awareness, preparedness, and communication in preventing active shooter incidents from occurring. By working together and sharing best practices, we can arrive at a world where active shooter incidents are #NEVERHERE™.
Grollnek’s message was clear: ‘Together, we can stop this. Active shooter incidents can happen anywhere, at any time, and to anyone. It is our duty to be prepared, to be vigilant, and to have a plan in place. Together, we can prevent these incidents from happening and create a safer world for everyone.”
The active shooter phenomenon is a global issue, and the World Police Summit provided an opportunity for experts from around the world to come together and share their knowledge and experiences. The innovation and resilience conference demonstrated that this issue has captured the attention of almost every country. The need to come up with new solutions to combat active shooter incidents has never been more pressing.
The World Police Summit was a valuable opportunity for Grollnek to share his expertise and learn from other experts in the field. His presentation was a reminder that the fight against active shooters is not just a local issue, but a global one. By coming together and sharing our knowledge, we can make the world a safer place.
