P.R.O. Model Workshops

A groundbreaking approach to active shooter prevention and response.

Our workshop is centered on innovative, purpose-built simulations designed to not just reduce fear, but also to empower and save lives.

At the core of our program are three fundamental pillars: Prevention, Response, and Options. Each segment is meticulously crafted to provide comprehensive training and insights into handling potential active shooter situations.

Prevention focuses on identifying and mitigating risks before they escalate.
Response delves into effective strategies and actions during an incident.
Options explores various scenarios and decisions, ensuring preparedness for any situation.

Complemented by engaging Tabletop Exercises, the PRO Model Workshop equips participants with critical skills and knowledge, transforming them into proactive agents of safety in their communities and organizations.

Full-Scale Training Exercises

ASPP’s full-scale training exercises evaluate an organization’s readiness and involve all relevant personnel, testing their roles and responsibilities. The goal is to identify weaknesses and improve response plans.

Exercises cover natural disasters, technological accidents, and active shooter or domestic terrorism attacks and are conducted on-site. They provide invaluable practice to ensure preparedness for any crisis.

Grant Specific Security Assessments

ASPP’s grant-specific security assessments provide tailored, comprehensive evaluations of an organization’s security posture to win grants. The assessments include a thorough analysis of security practices and vulnerabilities by risk assessment experts. They evaluate physical and cybersecurity measures, policies, and response plans.

The goal is to provide a detailed report and recommendations for improvement, highlighting strengths and weaknesses. Assessments demonstrate the organization’s capability to manage and protect grant funds and ensure the program’s success.

Site Assessments

The Active Shooter Prevention Project (ASPP) offers a comprehensive suite of best-in-class assessments to help organizations identify and mitigate risks related to various types of security threats.

Our team of experienced law enforcement and security professionals will conduct thorough examinations to help you identify vulnerabilities and implement effective solutions.

Policy & Procedure Development

ASPP advisors create policies and procedures for organizations to prepare and respond to active shooter and domestic terrorism events. They offer review, revision, templates, and organizing systems to address these challenges.

The goal is to provide clear guidelines that improve efficiency, reduce mistakes, and ensure everyone is working towards the same goals. In addition, ASPP provides crisis recovery support to help organizations recover from emergencies.

Human Resource (HR) Consultation

ASPP’s HR consultation services develop HR policies, employee benefit programs, and training to prepare for active shooter and domestic terrorism incidents. They provide comprehensive or focused assessments and customized solutions.

The goal is to provide expert guidance to effectively manage human capital, improve retention rates, productivity, and organizational performance, even during emergencies.

Executive Leadership Briefings

ASPP’s Executive leadership briefings provide knowledge and skills to manage and mitigate risks from active shooter and domestic terrorism events. They cover physical and cybersecurity, emergency preparedness, and crisis management, tailored to address the organization’s specific concerns.

Briefings include presentations, case studies, and interactive exercises conducted by security experts. The goal is to ensure leaders understand the current security landscape, identify threats, and develop strategies to respond and recover from emergencies. Briefings help prepare the organization to manage and protect its assets.

Expert Witness & Consulting

ASPP advisors provide specialized knowledge and expertise to resolve legal or other disputes related to active shooter and domestic terrorism events. They offer consulting and expert witness services, including evidence review, report or analysis development, and advice or guidance.

The goal is to provide accurate and unbiased information to inform decision-making and resolve disputes fairly and justly.

Real Stories from Those Who’ve Experienced ASPP PRO’s Impact

Chris, I’m the FBI’s program manager for active shooter situations and on the White House working group seeking ways to prevent gun violence. I wanted to drop a note and let you know that I thought the DOJ video was well done. You address many points that we have been stressing.

I worked with Chris on a case covering several months and found him to be most diligent in handling the requirements of the project from inception to completion. He was always quick to respond to requests for information and assistance and his work product was invaluable to the successful outcome of the case. Chris is very goal oriented and was flexible to employ the necessary tactics and strategies to achieve the goals we had set for the project.

Chris, thanks so much for those kind words. I know my staff is very grateful for your insights and advice on keeping PCM a little safer. I can see God has given you a real calling in this area, and I encourage you to keep at it. At the end of your career, when you are looking back at everything, knowing you did what God called you to do will be worth more than you know. Take this advice from someone on that side of the river! Many blessings to you and safe travels!

I first met Chris Grollnek after the Pulse Nightclub massacre. He’s extremely knowledgeable about best practices regarding active shooters. Chris took great pains to explain law enforcement’s failures when responding to Pulse. He doesn’t talk down to ordinary citizens. Rather, he converses in a manner the layperson can comprehend. I’m very grateful for my professional relationship with Chris Grollnek.

Thank you for presenting at the People’s City Mission on December 10th. Your presentation was greatly appreciated, and I have already shared some of the valuable information you provided with my organization. Your storytelling approach was engaging, although it would have been helpful to know more about the audience’s background and why we were all there. It’s a shame more people couldn’t attend, as your message deserves to be heard by a wider audience. Best of luck in your mission to raise awareness and put an end to these events.
