The Active Shooter Prevention Project (ASPP) is proud to welcome Rebecca Rush as a new member of its elite team of advisors. Rebecca is a highly accomplished businesswoman and a subject matter expert in safety devices and tools.

Rebecca is the co-founder and CEO of Wingshield® Inc., a company dedicated to creating life-saving technology for schools, houses of worship, government centers, shopping malls, office buildings, and beyond. Her dedication to protecting the lives of children and adults alike was born out of her greatest fear – the thought of not seeing her own children return home from school one day.

The horrific events of Sandy Hook Elementary and Marjorie Stoneman Douglas in Parkland, Florida, among others, were a wake-up call for Rebecca. She knew that if it could happen there, it could happen anywhere. Through years of prayer, God shared a design for their product, resulting in the creation of the Wingshield. It’s a ballistic mobile shelter-in-place product with revolutionary technology that was tested at HP White Laboratory, where it passed every ballistic test.

The Wingshield life-saving device is tangible, yet affordable, and does not require retrofitting or construction. It creates a safe room and gives peace of mind to everyone, especially parents, students, and educators.

Rebecca’s expertise in safety devices and tools makes her a valuable asset to the ASPP team. Her commitment to creating life-saving technology and her dedication to protecting the lives of children and adults alike aligns perfectly with the mission and goals of the ASPP.
