As a retired FBI Special Agent with decades of experience in law enforcement, I understand the importance of having a robust and effective active shooter prevention program in place. So, when I was hand-selected to film and deliver the Active Shooter Prevention Project’s P.R.O. Model training to The Executive Offices of the United States Attorneys Department of Justice, I felt a tremendous sense of honor and responsibility.
For me, the opportunity to share my expertise with one of the most critical agencies in the U.S. Government was not just an honor, but also a chance to make a difference in the world. By delivering the P.R.O. Model training, my intent is to help save lives by mitigating or preventing tragedies like those that have occurred in recent years.
The P.R.O. Model, which stands for Prevention, Response, and Outcome, is a comprehensive approach to active shooter prevention that emphasizes the importance of a well-trained security team, adequate protective intelligence, and effective communication with corporate leaders. The model provides a roadmap for companies to follow, so they can develop and implement a robust and effective security program.
Filming the training video for The Executive Offices of the United States Attorneys was an incredible experience. It was an opportunity to showcase my expertise, but also to learn from others in the field. It was an interactive experience where we discussed various scenarios and best practices. We also talked about the importance of maintaining a proactive approach to security and how to ensure that all employees are equipped to handle potential threats.
Through this experience, I also gained a deeper appreciation for the work of The Executive Offices of the United States Attorneys Department of Justice. Their dedication to keeping the American people safe is unwavering, and it was an honor to work with such a prestigious organization.
Overall, my experience training and filming a video for The Executive Offices of the United States Attorneys Department of Justice was a highlight of my post-FBI career. It was an opportunity to share my expertise, learn from others, and make a difference in the world. By delivering the P.R.O. Model training, I hope to help companies across the country and around the world keep their employees safe and secure in today’s uncertain world.
